YES Greats UnInc Snowboard 2023

The human contradictions.

Still the best carving twin you’ll ever lay an edge on. This newest design of Greats UnInc has an ever-growing legion of followers. This year we made an art piece of the collection, we worked with Kalonji to showcase the human hypocrisy and he made a piece that spreads over all sizes, each size has it’s own color but put together it all makes sense.. An asymmetrical twin with asym-flex, asymmetrical MidBite was added to the opposing side-cut specs. The end result is a high-performance twin that delivers better edge hold and greater stability on landings that will leave a permanent grin on your face.

Artist : Alex Fowkes

Terrain: All Mountain / Freestyle

Board Shape:

Asymmetrical True Twin – The Asym Twin applies a tighter, deeper heelside radial sidecut compared to the toe. In effect, balancing out the difference in a body’s natural tendency that we get with directional boards, allowing you to ride switch better than you ever have. Regular or goofy – it’s still a true twin. Just flip it around.

Flex: 7/10

Camber Profile:

CamRock 2-4-3 – The response of camber with the floatability of rocker. Camber between your feet acts as a spring, keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns and allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more, allowing it to float.

Sintered True – True Sintered bases are harder and more expensive than extruded, and can be faster for those that ride aggressively.

Poplar / Paulownia / Bamboo – Creates a lighter, more responsive core than the Full Poplar. The Poplar + Bamboo uses the same durable core, lightens it up by replacing 30% of the Poplar with Paulownia and then inserts two bamboo stringers down the full length for added pop and response.

Triaxal Glass + Carbon

Asymmetrical MidBite – MidBite blends the response of a narrow waist width with the stability of wider nose and tail. The MidBite steps the outline of the board inward 1.5mm just inside the insert pack. This step remains down about 1/3 the length of the sidecut until just inside the next insert pack. This single long disruption of the sidecut between the bindings cheats the waist width narrower, providing quicker edge-to-edge response.

2 x 4 Insert Pattern
