DYNASTAR Speed Team GS Pro Junior Ski + SP Binding
The Dynastar Speed Team GS Jr Race Ski is unchanged for 2020 in the 144, 151, 158 and 165 lengths with the R20 junior race plate. These skis are proven race winners at all levels of USSA competition, and are identical to the Rossignol Junior GS skis except for graphics.
The Dynastar Speed Team GS JR Skis deliver a genuine advantage through the latest generation of the revolutionary Power Turn Rocker technology. These skis feature a Titanal layer in the mid-section of the ski, allowing the tip and tail to be softer. They come with the R20 Junior race plate, which only accepts the Look SPX 10 race binding or the Look NX Jr 7. We suggest the SPX 10 for all Junior racers 75lbs or above that are skiing adult boot sole dimensions. Junior boot soles are size 21 and down in the Lange RSJ 65 or Rossi Hero 65, and this follows true in most other manufacturers. We suggest the NX Jr 7 binding for racers less than 75 lbs.
165cm: 106-65-87 (19 m radius)158cm: 104-65-86 (18 m radius)151cm: 102-65-85 (17 m radius)144cm: 101-64-84 (15 m radius)
Dynastar skis come from the manufacturer’s factory race room not fully prepared for racing. Dynastar GS skis are set at the factory with a 1 degree base bevel and 1 degree side angle. Peak Performance recommends for Jr GS skis a .7 or 1 degree base bevel, 3 degree side angle, sidewalls pulled from the edge, and race wax applied.
Dynastar race skis are the ski of choice for accomplished World Cup skiers David Ryding, Clement Noel and Nadia Fanchini.
